SABMiller to acquire Colombia's Bavaria for 7.8 bln dollars

AFP - Britain-based brewer SABMiller said it would acquire a controlling stake in Colombian peer Grupo Empresarial Bavaria for 7.8 billion dollars (6.5 billion euros), a major player in the booming South American beer market.
