Just finished seeing this film for the first time. Pretty good movie. I enjoyed it... I think some of you will too.

The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming is a 1966 American comedy film. Based on the Nathaniel Benchley juvenile novel, The Off-Islanders, it was adapted for the screen by William Rose. The movie tells the Cold War story of the comedic chaos which ensues when the Soviet submarine, Спрут (Sprut, Squid), accidentally runs aground near a small New England town.

What's cool is that in the film you see two USAF F-111 Voodoo Fighters. SWEET! Also it was just a pretty good and classic funny film.

Two good scenes from the film

Mate, this was a classic movie, totally funny and you do end up seeing the basic good in both russians and americans............

The jets doing a low pass across the sub is one of my fave parts of the film, just like Arkin trying to pass himself off as a norwegian sailor......
