We arent in Iraq for oil or glass or even their famous mooshoo pork.

Rock, one target at a time. The weapons in Iraq were also confirmed and thought to be the most imminent danger at the time.

Oil lobbyists may have really pushed for it.
It is a possibility. Every country has its own share of these sort of things.
South Korea is practically controlled by various Church organizations, for example.
And Indonesia is heavily influenced by rich ethnic Chinese businessmen.

Because you asked the question.
