Great idea!!! Think this will save some countries alot of money because than they don´t need that multi tasking guns like the FN SCAR or what ever, that can be changed to every caliber in the world!

Zander, please,think it through. When the US adopted the 5.56, what did the Soviets do? Did they adopt the same calibre? No, they invented a new round that we now know as the 5.45mm. Why? Because they did not want their enemies to be able to resupply using their own ammo... EVER!!! The Swiss also use another calibre for the same reason. Commonality is great, but only when you want it.
