Is military reenactment for non profit or does it pay and how does one go about being a reenactor And what equipment does one need to be one

Go to http://philamerica.proboards.com/index.cgi? and ask them as they are reenactors. These guys are really good.

Reenacting is done for fun. Suttlers "merchants" selling the stuff you need, make money/a living selling thier wares. Try to find a group in your area. Use Google to search for groups, hobby publications, ect. What era are you interested in?

Actually it can be done for both hobby and profit. Lots of history flics being shot nowadays, and they want people that know their schtick about certain periods/countries/units.
