There was an error in Rowan Scarborough's Pentagon Notebook ("Recriminations," Plugged in, Thursday), though it was not Mr. Scarborough's fault; it was a direct quote. Contrary to the quote by Larry Di Rita, aide to former Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld, there are no regional education institutions "under the National War College auspices."
National War College is one of the educational institutions under National Defense University, and the regional research centers are affiliated with NDU, not NWC.
