I have never liked Harris nor his policies as they were indistinguishable to that of the Germans but you can not deny the bravery of the bomber crews and it is a shame they do not have a fitting memorial.

I do agree. Harris may have been over the top. But the crews displayed the upmost bravery. ~ 44% of them were KIA. They deserve a fitting memorial.
