Rabbis make appeal not to destroy Gaza synagogues

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Leading rabbis made a last ditch
appeal on Sunday to Israel's High Court of Justice to stop the
government from demolishing synagogues in now-dismantled Jewish
settlements in the occupied Gaza Strip.
