question about weapons

I'm 16 right now. I'm going to join the Marines when i turn 17. My question is; When you ship out, do they let you take your own weapons with you?

You get extra points for originality and uniqueness.

It would be too boring to have everyone running about resembling each other.

Its also good business for the ammo suppliers. More different calibers= more sales.
Same same for lazy supply troops-keeps them more productive.
