Prior service uniform

I know the answer; but just for clarification and sake of debate...

Common sense dictates; "If you have to ask; wear the current service uniform."

I looked through AR 670-1, Marine Corp Regulation, and DOD found nothing.

I got out of the Marines and years later enlisted in the Army. My wife and I are going to my sons Marine Corps Ball; being a prior service Marine (Honorably Discharge) would I be authorized to wear the Blues to the Ball even if I am in the Army?

I think your NCO/CO would know this. I am thinking you would/should wear the uniform of the service you are currently in.

If you are Honorably Discharged from the Corps AND not currently serving in the Army you are authorized to were Dress Blue A, B, evening or mess Dress for formal occasions. If you are currently serving in any other service however you should clear it through your Command.
