Here's mine. Yep that white building in the distance. What? You think I'm going to post a clear shot so you can drive up to Vermont and look me up? :p

I spent a few days in working in Burlington and got to drive around a bit before leaving. Of course I had to go up to Dakins' Farm and buy some maple syrup and candy. Also made the teddy bear factory. Do you know the history of a huge rock island in Lake Champlain? The natives call it "Dunder".

Thanks for the nice comments folks. I've been to 47 states and 21 countries but I love my home the best.

Yes, Missileer, I know the story of the god turned to stone. There's a very fine ale you can get here called "Rock Dunder Brown Ale". Those interested can see a pic of Dunder rock and get a synopsis of the story here:

BTW, there are "officially" no "natives" left. The Abnakis are fighting for recognition as a tribe even now and have done so for decades. The state believes that they have become too watered down by caucasian blood to qualify. But the art, the history, and the culture still exist. If the Native Americans can have a casino in Connecticut, I think the Abnakis here can be recognized as a tribe. They've asked only for that and not for government aid or a casino.

Oh yeah, Dakins Farm is run out of New Jersey. If you want _real_ Vermont syrup see a farmer.

Man, I love the Autumns there. God's paint pallette. Beautiful house. The Colonists were said to have rowed out to Dunder and put lanterns on it and the British fired cannon and rockets at it all night thinking it was some American plot or ship or something.

This isn't my house but it's not far from it and since you folks liked the scenery of Vermont. I thought you might enjoy the pic of me skiing with Camel's Hump Mountain in the background.

That mountain must be kick@ss to go Off-Pist in!

This is my neighbor's house. My house isn't visible but is the house directly to the right of that one. It also looks exactly the same except with the garage on the other side.

Why didn't you just horizontally flip the pic then and say it was your house? Bwa ha ha ha!

Nice house though. Good solid brick. ;)
