possible vietnam shoulder insignia

does anyone know what a patch worn on the left shoulder that is a black background with a white or silver upwards facing sword and the words "follow me" at the top is from? i think it is from vietnam but cant be sure. thanks.

yeah thats it. sorry its an old picture i am looking at. and it doesnt have the airborne part above it.

I don't know how old this patch is, but currently it's worn by some Personnel at Ft. Benning ( Drill Sergeants, Range Cadre, permanent party)

Then it is the Fort Benning United States Army Infantry School (USAIS) patch. It is worn if you don't know the active duty unit you will be assigned to. The Airborne part above it just means that the soldier is airborne qualified. Hope that helps.

It is the Infantry School patch. It has nothing to do with the VietNam war.
