THE Pope has become a man of iPod . . . and got a Nano to listen to his top tunes.
Pope Benedict XVI was given the £139 gizmo by staff at Vatican Radio.
It stores 1,000 tracks and his officials have loaded it with his favourites — mostly religious music, plus pieces by Beethoven, Mozart and Chopin.
The Pope, 78, is a pianist and appreciates good music. He has been spotted around the Vatican using his iPod and distinctive white earphones.
A spokesman said: “He is very pleased with the iPod.
“The Holy Father likes to unwind listening to it and is of the opinion that this sort of technology is the future.”
