Our official military budget for the year 2008 is around 10.83 billion $ - World’s 18th-largest budget and 7th in Europe.

I hear Russia threatened to Nuke Poland. Hopefully, Poland's ready to deal with any nonsense from the commies.

Not commies (or even Commies), just Russians playing the same old games they always have (anyone know what Lebens Raum is in Russian?)

Poland is a NATO member so anything the Russians start there is not going to end like it has (will) in Georgia.

That's the plan (as some people say) and the whole point of the NATO Alliance - mutual defense. I am pretty certain that the US will fight, or send forces, even if NATO fails to act.

Heck I'm willing to go right now if would help - same for Georgia. What a cruddy mess.

I think many of the NATO folks are afraid because Russia controls so much of their energy supply.

Were you at the parade PL? How did it go?

Absolutely and Czar Vladimir knows that all too well. Why else go to all the trouble to buy out, sieze or bully into submission the energy firms? Well, there's all that money - I am sure that played a role too.

I wasn't in Poland, I'm in Southern California.

hahaha 10-4 Sir.

Venom_PL: Any talk over there amongst your people on the Soviets recent trash talking against your folks?

No one here gives a damn about what the russkies are saying.
Their rockets are pointed at us since 1999 anyway – the date when we joined NATO.

Yup I was there - here are some pics from the parade.
