Policewomen in Iran

Shia Muslim Dress Code Not Propaganda....

It was forced upon the Iranian women after the nasty revolution of 1979

Iran pre-1979 was still a shia country but had a secular government. so this is almost propaganda and forcefully imposing backwardice laws of Islam on people

The revolution wasn't nasty. The ones who hijacked it were (are).

Yes?

I'd say it was nasty and destructive. No body hijacked it. It is another commie made myth saying the freaking revolution was hijacked by clerics, not knowing that the entire nasty revolution was led by the mullahs themselves with assistance of freaking commies and socialists.

Dont tell me things you have no clue about

The lower classes definitely didn't like the shah regime because the shah wasn't very good at all about social issues. I'm not sure about the social make up in 1979 iran, but i'm guessing that there were lots of under privleged citizens who were sick of living their lives in poverty while their king talked about how great iran was doing. The revolution was not just clerics and communists, virtually of group had a hand in it where they could, the ayatollah came into power because of the irai invasion pure and simple.

Iran has smart ratioanl people in it, hopefully this farce of women's rights will be fixed sometime in the future. Malaysia seems to be doing alright since the women actually seemed to be enjoying their work in those pics. The iranian women just looked grim.

Well the ayatollah were in power shortly before the invasion, but it certainly helped them to consolidate it.

The shah threw a huge party in (was it Perseopolis?) for Iranian and foreign dignitaries to celebrate some Persian anniversary that lasted for several days which must've cost buttloads...all with tax money of course.

UK and USA made a bad choice by backing pahlavi when mossadegh took power. Hell, they made a bad choice when they put pahlavi in charge of the government in the first place. I guess their rationale was, how hard could it be to govern iran? Not hard, just don't let manipulative young man do it.
