The pilot of a small plane managed to make a safe belly landing Thursday, without any landing gear, all captured on tape.

I actually watched it live in our Ops Center -- we have CNN, MSNBC and FOX News tuned in 24x7. I knew it was a slow news day when all three networks carried that landing live. :lol:

Probably a combo of dumping fuel, and the pilot setting the thing down gently enough that it didn't rupture the fuel tank(s). I saw them spray foam on it afterwards as a precaution.

Give it a bit, one of the local news stations had a chopper in the air, so they probably filmed it. From what I heard, it was loaded with executives from NIKE, the sporting goods/sneaker company.

Yes, but I had to go out for an appointment so I couldnt watch the whole thing on TV. I am trying to find a link to the landing!
