The UN has become a bloated husk of it's former self. Sadly FDR didn't study history and could not see into the future. Because the League of Nations didn't work and the United Nations doesn't work.

So what do you propose after we leave the UN? returning isolationism and unilateral military intervention whenever there is a diplomatic problem.

That hasn't worked so well in the past.
