It still looks like it's doing a million miles an hour sitting in a revetment.
 
Sorry, I was only 8 years old in 1955 and a bit young for Vietnam. My stubby little fingers have let me down yet again.

Anyways, the Phantom is a great plane. There's a novel dedicated to it called "Warbirds" by Richard Herman, worth picking up.
 
Wasn't that the sequel? Involves Jack Locke and "Thunder" Bryant from "Warbirds"? There's a sequel to that as well called "Firestorm" that involves Locke as well...
