Pat Tillman

Redneck posted this some where else earlier, but i find it very fitting here.

And when he gets to Heaven
To Saint Peter he will tell:

His brother, Kevin, also gave up a contract with the Cleveland Indians (professional baseball, for our international friends) to join the Army. He is also a Ranger serving in the 75th.

These young men are a shining example of loyalty, courage, sacrifice, and patriotism.

Although I do not entirely agree with the words of this statement, I do whole heartedly agree with its sentiment.

(CNN) -- A Silver Star has been awarded posthumously to Cpl. Pat Tillman, the former football player who died last week after returning to an ambush to save the remainder of his platoon, Army Special Operations Command said Friday.

RIP corporal Tillman. The rest of us will forever be in debt to men like Pat Tillman who make the supreme sacrifice in defense of freedom.
