LMAO a .22 Aussies gun of choice :cheers:I own too many (so my Wife says). I still have the single shot .22 that I had at about age 10 years old. The only problem I have is trying to decide which caliber to use if a burgler breaks in.
I own 47 of them, all licensed and registered and if I can find an MP44 it will be 48.
I thought you're against the guns? :| Correct me if I'm mistake. I've seen you debated with 5.56 on some gun controls or something.

The Government got a few pieces of rubbish, the remainder was "dispersed" before the crackdown. Because of my previously registered collection, and the fact that I was still a licenced pistol shooter, I became squeaky clean as I always expected a knock on the door at 0400. I now have nothing on my premises and never will have.
The government changed all of the laws regarding firearms after a nutter shot 31 people in Tasmania. So once again the law abiding owner got the kick in the goolies because of the actions of one person with a previous record of mental instability, which the Government of the day was too lazy and incompetent to do anything about. It's far easier and cheaper to ban a class of firearms than build and maintain a decent mental health system.
I am not against guns as such I am just against unregistered ownership.
I would be exceedingly surprised if you find a post where I advocate the banning of private ownership.
The Soviet Union did it, Nazi Germany did it, Turkey did it, Guatemala did it, China did it, etc.... Do you want me to list every nation in the 20th Century that had a firearms registration system in place that later did a confiscation and abuse of it's citizenry?
