The Other Guy

Spam King
Sometime in the early to mid 1970s (I want to say '73) One of my cousins who will remain unnamed came home from military service in Korea, where he had been stationed. He came through San Francisco, and as he was in full uniform was getting a bit of flak. On one walkway, soem hippie came up to him and asked him, "How many women and children you kill today?" thinking that he had served in Vietnam. My cousin stared at the guy for a moment, and then punched him through a window.

Once the police arrived, they asked bystanders what had happened. They were all in the military as well, so they just said that my cousin had been attacked by this man and he was merely defending himself. Police took the hippie away, who was a bit dazed but was cussing up a storm. My cousin returned home to Ohio, and no charges were ever placed against him or the hippie.
