Oh and btw, is "Seehund" the Faroese/Danish term for these animals? Exactly the same as in German. :shock:

Seehund is called sölöve (sea lion) in Danish and what it is called in Faroese I do not know because I do not speak the language.

Die alten Seehund was a nickname I got when I was stationed with the German Navy in Kiel.
