Political correctness at it's worst again.

Here in Australia in the state of Queensland we have a grandstand at a sports ground named, The E.S. "******" Brown" Stand.

I served in the navy with "******" Phillips.

Neither use is derogatory. It is not an uncommon nickname here, and nobody except the politically correct give it a second thought.
