The tides are caused by the gravitational pull of the moon on the earth. Tides may seem pretty languid things but carry immense potential inside them. One can imagine the kind of effort and energy that is required to lift the water. As the tides flow, it turns the turbine fans and generates electricity.

Ocean wave energy is captured directly from surface waves or from pressure fluctuations below the surface using point absorbers.
