Does anybody know anything about this?
cited the loss of confidence in Worthington’s ability to command
That seems to be a very heavy statement to say about a squadron commander can I assume this isn't common?

Cmdr. Raymond B. Worthington, the commanding officer of Strike Fighter Squadron 143 at Oceana Naval Air Station, was relieved of duty today, the Navy announced. Capt. Scott Stearney, the commander of Carrier Air Wing Seven, cited the loss of confidence in Worthington’s ability to command.
Cmdr. Jake Elzey has temporarily assumed command of the squadron, which flies the F/A-18E Super Hornet..
Worthington had served as commanding officer since February 2007 and previously was the squadron’s executive officer. He has been temporarily assigned to Commander, Strike Fighter Wing Atlantic.
