In Mississippi, during a press conference, after telling the press that what needs to be done, gets done. A resident walked up to the gaggle and said this:

"Go **** yourself, Mr. Cheney!! Go **** yourself!!!

Cheney looked pissed. Really pissed.

A reporter then asked him, "Do you get that a lot, Mr. Cheney?"

He replied, "That's the first time I've heard it. Must be a friend of John er.. uh.. never mind."

It sounded as though he was pushed away (probably by the secret service). CNN would not show this guy.

Oh yeah now the FBI deports him to some secret base and tortures him until he admits he's a terrorist. Gimme a break

Well what goes around comes around. Cheney said the same thing to my state's senior Senator - Patrick Leahy over Halliburton criticism.

My feelings exactly. Especially on the floor of Congress.

What was Darth Cheney doing over there anyway? Scouting new locations for another Haliburton no-bid contract. :)

The guy who shouted it was an ER doc from Louisiana. You can find a link to his online blog at ihatemycubicle.com

How naughty of them and of course Mr Cheney would not have known what it meant or would have ever used such an expression in his life

I made a joke about Cheney + Halliburton a few days ago, but it looks like the joke was on me. The same companies involoved with the Graft in Iraq have been given contracts worth $500 Million for the Katrina 'reconstruction'. I guess it not surprising given the Bush Administration disire to overtake the Taft Administration as the most corrupt Administration ever.

*SIGH*

Anyway here's the link.

mmarsh, unless you have proof of some misdeed (your personal opinion does not constitute proof), do not accuse national leaders/administrations of crimes/corruption. Likewise, there will be no namecalling tolerated on these forums, if you cannot express yourself without doing so, you are welcome to find another place to spend your time. When I worked in Louisiana, the Shaw Group of Baton Rouge was the company that Contractors went to for help because of their experience, heavy equipment, and the resources for highly specialized teams. They are one of the most respected contractors in the country. That's how you make money, be the best.
