White supremacist 'plot' to assassinate Barack Obama foiled
A neo-Nazi plot to assassinate Barack Obama has been uncovered days before the American presidential election.

US government agents say they have thwarted a plan by two conspirators to kill the White House front-runner and shoot or decapitate 102 black people.

The plot is understood to centre on Tennessee where Martin Luther King was assassinated exactly 40 years ago.

Details of the conspiracy were contained in court records unsealed on Monday by members of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives – America's specialist law enforcement agency.

ATF agents said they disrupted plans by white supremacists to rob a firearms store and attack a predominantly black school.

According to the ATF, the men planned to go on a killing spree across the United States with Mr Obama, the Democratic nominee who is poised to become the country's first black president, as their final target.

It was not known how detailed the alleged plot was, how far advanced it was or how feasible the plan. Agents said that the two men did not identify the school by name.

Why would they need to rob a gun store if they could just buy their own weapons? Sounds fishy to me. Either way, it looks like the guys either didn't have any brains or didn't have any resources so I don't think it was a serious attempt.

Did you note that this story is based upon records that were released from a court??? The ATF must have been serious enough ... charges were filed in the court. {Details of the conspiracy were contained in court records unsealed on Monday}.

Now I don't know about you, but when two nut cases conspire in a plan to assassinate a political candidate and to attack defenseless students, then I damn sure am going to take them serious {or} do I need to remind you of the many cases of attacks on student bodies where automatic weapons have been used, where a horrendous number of people were killed or wounded.

What will it take before society realizes there are mental defectives within our society, that are not only sick enough to not only contemplate violence, but to carry it out on a massive scale???

It is like the holocaust ... ignore what is in front of your face, and sooner or later, it will be your turn to become one of the victims {and there will be nobody left to bear witness}.

IT ISN'T ALWAYS JUST TALK ... and ... it doesn't always require brains to kill someone.

It was bound to happen. Good thing BATFE did what they did.

I view Obama as a threat to America and her way of life but killing the man isn't right. Making sure that him and his lies are shown to the American People is the right thing to do and making sure that a FAIR and JUST election takes place is what needs to e done.

But a bunch of racist skinheads trying to kill a blackman isn't anything new. And neither is Black Racists trying to kill white folks.

While I have no doubt about their intent I really do doubt their capacity to have carried out a successful attack.
 
Hopefully, this will encourage the FBI to take out a few of these nazi groups. They are entitled to freedom of speech, but to actually plan a political assassination is going over the line.

Anybody who would use violence to stop a US democratic election isn't an American in my book.
 
Let's face it: the likelihood that either one of this year's presidential canidates makes it through two terms alive is not good. McCain's old, and the campaign alone is taking its toll. Obama's got people like this breathing down his neck. Consider it an amazing feat if either one of them makes it to 2016.

And I sure as heck like Joe Biden more than Sarah Palin.

Im not so worried about Obama. The GOP knows that if they were implicated even remotely to an assasination of a US Presidential cadidate, there would be hell to pay, both legally and by voters. Even if they had nothing to do with it at all the GOP would be the first to be suspected. There would also there would likely be a sympathy vote for whichever Democrat took Obama's place.

In any scenario, the GOP would lose far more than it would gain. Thats why I think that if Obama wins, the GOP will reign-in the crazies, the last thing they want is Obama martyred like JFK was. It might take them 20 years to recover from the backlash.

Not this group of crazies, they aren't anarchists. They simply believe that Obama thats out of the picture would allow for someone more in tune to their political beliefs, be it more radical, or more conservative, or as in the case of these skinhead losers...more white.

Its exactly what was going through the mind of Gavrilo Princip when he shot Franz Ferdinand. He thought a dead Austrian emperor would grant Serbia independence, not only did not not earn Serbia its freedom it kicked off WWI.

But thats the problem with crazies, they are so deluded they cannot think further then their own warped ideology.

There are sooooo many different flavors of Skinheads it's hard to keep track of them, even for them. The only thing they have in common for the most part is a skewed version of history and room tempreture IQ's.

I think the reason they didn't make a big deal out of it was because it just wasn't that credible a plot, in essence it was just the musings of a bunch of low IQ nutters.
