like, what is the minimum GPA, What do they want to see in an applicant, and if some of you boys dont know, NROTC, stands for Navel Reserve Officers Training Course.
I applied and got into Navy ROTC during the fall of my freshman year (started spring semester), but a lot of my classmates applied while they were seniors in high school.
Research the colleges you want to go to, make sure they either have their own Navy ROTC program or have a "cross-town agreement" -- i.e., they don't have ROTC on campus, but you can attend drill and Naval Science classes at another school while the Navy still pays your tuition. (And it's Naval, not Navel...you're not signing up to study your belly button!) My Navy ROTC unit was based at MIT, but we had students from Harvard, Tufts (my school) and Wellesley as part of the battalion; the regiment was rounded out by the Boston Univ. battalion, which was comprised of BU, BC and Northeastern students.
