Norwegian units engaged in heavy fighting in Afghanistan
Norwegian ISAF units have the last couple of days been engaged in heavy fighting in the Ghowrmach region in Northern Afghanistan. The Government will on Tuesday propose that more Norwegian troops be sent to Afghanistan.
The last days' fighting is part of a major ISAF drive to prevent the Taliban from gaining a foothold in the region.
