There is a new spider on the North American Discovery List, and this will sound familiar to most of you who know of its infamous cousin. This spider is know as the,Brown Widow, and is strikingly similair to its well know cousin the Black Widow.

A Sciene expert found out there was a small group of these newly found spiders at Keesler Air Force Base, there they were examined by experts and now have been put on the discovery list of at least 1 in the long list of 25,000 known spiders in the spider family. These spiders are about 1/12 inch long and are relivtily shy and calm, a further anlysis showded that there was a thriving poplulation in the Mississippi Gulf Coast Area, these spiders were reported and Idenditfy in many abandoned structures and buildings, also the spider was also reported to doctors in bite indcidents, witch puzzled some experts.

So far , the roots of this new discovery goes to say that the new spider like the Black Widow, is from a Tropical area, and is a calm web dwelling spider , with a orangish yellow hourglass marking on the Adult Female's back, this spider is rumored to be at least 3 times more venomous but, is said to be very calm and docile, and will most likely run in the face of a large threat, like for expample Humans, and with more and more housing devolpments sweeping the South Eastern United States, more and more occasions of humans and this new spider, will unintetionly end up sharing the same neighbor hoods.

It is almost certian however that this new spider will not have enough aggressiveness or bite power, and venoum to harm a human being, and is practily almost harmless. Never the less many are still skeptical about its nature, but most experts say you have more of a chance of getting the mosquito born West Nile Virus than getting serverly harmed by this new spider, Witch will help in mosquito control.

Here is its closest cousin, The Black Widow,

This is not a "new" spider. We have them in Florida. They're just new to Mississippi. At least it's not as agressive as the Black Widow.

A less-harmful brown relative of the poisonous black widow spider has invaded areas on Mississippi's Gulf Coast, according to the state's bug expert.
This summer, many Coast residents started reported infestations of what they thought were black widow spiders. Dr. Jerome Goddard, the medical entomologist at the state Department of Health, said he has seen the tropical brown widow spider several places since he first heard of a sighting last year at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi.
The brown widow is now one of three poisonous spiders that live in the state, Goddard said. The others are the black widow and the brown recluse. Goddard thinks the brown widow came to the state by way of plants, food, building materials or furniture shipped from Florida.
