a new mwmber; a new wxperience

Welcome and thanks for admiring the US Military, but your country also has a military history. I’ve always been in awe of men’s (and sometimes women‘s) military achievements as we are all human; and all nations, races, religions, etc have military heroes. Humans who have transcended our sense of personal preservation and have done things that should make them remembered by all of us. Every country has soldiers - good ones too.
How must the men from your country, who went to Italy in WW II, have thought of their mission? Did they see it as their responsibility? Brazil had not been attacked so why were they there?
But they went and they performed and few outside of we few history freaks remember them.
