Just joined the Forum. Served in Royal Signals in the 1960s in UK, Germany and Aden (now part of Yemen). Have written a dozen or more books on British and Commonwealth Signals history, New Zealand military insignia, NZ Sigint, Aden and the Protectorates, Military and Police Forces of the Trucial States and UAE, and history of RNZ Signals.
