New Member aboard!

Hey guys,

I just joined the International Military Forums this morning while having a cup of Joe. Seems like a great place with plenty of different opinions and subjects which is great.

I am U.S. Army veteran (Cold War era) and Texas State Guard (TXSG) veteran. My principle hobby is Cold War and Special Air Service (SAS) and Foreign Legion military history. I am currently the webmaster of two websites:

THE SAS AT WAR! 1941-45
www.wingeddagger.com

LEGION ETRANGERE!
www.shle.org

Both sites are for WWII reenacting in the United States.

We have just established a new Cold War veterans organization:

The Allied Forces Cold War Association (AFCWA)
http://coldwarvets.proboards.com/index.cgi

I just posted several times to get the word out to those Allied vet's who served during the Cold (or "hot") war to come onboard. Unlike most veterans groups, U.S. or otherwise that limit membership to specific units, regiments, divisions or time periods, this organization is open to ALL Cold War-era veterans who fought against Communism, including Rhodesia, South Africa, Israel, El Salvador and other small countries that may or may not exist but served honorably. We beleive this organization has a great future.

In any event - thanks for allowing my membership and to post!

Regards,
Mick

Welcome Mick,

It's a real pleasure that a US guy talk about the FFL.

Thank you very much
