Hey, how'd they get 'em? Did they actually buy them from the Russians, or were these acquired from Iraq during the first Gulf War?

Oh id say there old Iraqi planes, but thats strictly a guess.

Some what correct Rabs,Iran also purchased some from Russia and upgraded a handful or so with the Zhuk-M radar.

Still no match against an Allied airpower.These would be fodder.

I thinks some are old Iraqi birds and some are Old Eastern BLoc birds. Maybe East German or Soviet.

Iran is said to have only 21 MiG-29's [most ex-Iraqi Air Force] Some from Soviet sattelite states.

Iran was said to get there spares from India and Russia.
