Someone I work with recommended this forum to me. I'm just a young guy (21) though so I will probably act more like a fly on the wall or a sponge and soak up all the knowledge I can here than post a lot.
What to say about me. I am in the Army National Guard. I'm a PFC that works as an MP. It took a solid two years of thinking about joining the army before I finally mustered up enough courage to do it, but it has been the best thing I have done with my life by far. I am going to deploy for the first time very soon and I am pretty excited/nervous about it. I want to have the experience, but at the same time I want the world back home to pause. I know that this will never happen, but a guy can dream, right?
If I like what I experience during the deployment, I may become a career soldier, but I won't have to worry about that decision for at least a few more years.
That's enough of that now. I look forward to learning from you all.
