This board is not an exact fit for me because I do not collect military insignias.
I am collecting pseudo-militaria; namely wings, insignia, and awards that appear to be military, to a degree, but were NOT issued by a military organization.
Specifically I collect the wings, medals, and awards issued by air-war pulps and related magazines.
Air Trails;
Battle Birds, Bill Barnes, Flying Aces, G-8 and his Battle Aces, Lone Eagle, Sky Birds, Sky Fighters, War Birds
and maybe more magazines issues wings, medals, pins, card cases, etc.
Maybe you guys can point me to references or people who know about this field.
