I have made a DIVX file using Vidome and now I need a programme that will split it into smaller DIVX segments.
I tried to use Virtualdub and Easy Video Splitter but Virtualdub split the segment I wanted into 25 files of around 2g, so when I joined it together I ended up with a file of over 50g. Odd, as the original file was only 1.4g and I only need a quarter of the file therefore the finished product should only have been about 350mg which is what I’m after.
Easy Video Splitter works great on any file except DIVX, for some reason it won’t recognise the file format. I thought this would be pretty simple piece of software but the above two are the only ones I can find, if you know of any others, I would appreciate it.
