I once heard before WW2 the American army even did the same salute...but I have saw nothing that proves that.

i certanly know that catolic church helped nazi croats during ww2 and they had certainstrains in the vatican it self

I find it strange to think that the "Vatican" would support anything remotely related to Nazism. I went to the Holocaust Chronicles and found that according to their facts, 3,000,000 Polish Catholics perished as a result of Nazi genocidal policies.
