I don't know if this is authentic or not, but it's priceless either way. :D

Dana Perrino ( Fox News) describing an interview she recently had with a
Navy SEAL. After discussing all the countries he had been sent to, she
asked if they had to learn several languages?

His reply:

"No ma'am, we don't go there to talk."

Saw something similar.
They were interviewing a Path Finder from the Parachute Regiment and the reporter asked him "Would you die for your Queen and Country?"
His reply;
"My job is to make sure the enemy does that!"

I heard her say this on TV so I assume it is true.

It is response like these that makes people go -wow! what a guy...

It is somewhere here in the forum, I remember a snipre being interviewed. And the reporter was asking him if he felt anything after shooting someone.

His answer was one word- "Recoil..."

When I was a clinical instructor for a Nursing Home here, being the first guy in that Home to homd such a position, I was asked by the Nursing Aides and Nursing staff-obviously they were not too comfortable with me (initially)- How would you insert a urinary catheter into a female resident?

I looked straight at her, and with a smile, answered her with one word- "Gently..."

Johnson Beharry VC was asked about the 2nd action that he took part in that got him his VC.
"What was going through your head when all this was happening"
His reply, "An AK47 round!"

My favourite quote of his is "Sometimes your the bug, sometimes your the windscreen":-D

As a one time male nursing student I appreciate what you said.
