If I talk to any of the guys at my CAP squad about Navy or the Coast Guard they just make...jokes about dropping soap?( they all want to get into the Airforce, but not to be mean, they aren't very bright, they smoke pot bad grades...etc...etc)

So here I am almost threw high school, I have talked to both recruiters and i'm interested in the MA for the Navy and the GM for the Coast Guard, the only real difference I see is the Navy is everywhere and MA's are basically cops (correct me if I am wrong).

It would be great for some input, thanks agian!

Have you taken a look at the payscales/advancement rates comparably?

If you're having trouble deciding, that might be a good idea.

Pay scales are the same across all branches. I think you have to decide what you want to do in the military. Decide what you want to learn, decide where you'd like to serve. With those things in mind, look at each service, talk to the recruiters and see which one fits your needs and expectations best.

As for the Coasties being cops, check out this link for job opportunities for Coast Guard officers.

and one this for enlisted careers.

They have a college student pre-commissioning program.

The Naval Academy has a good link too.

Do as much research as it takes until you feel fairly comfortable selecting the right branch for you.
