PRISTINA -- An unmanned NATO aircraft crashed into the roof of a house in southern Kosovo yesterday, injuring a child, police said. The drone, belonging to the NATO-led peacekeeping force in Kosovo, known as KFOR, crashed in a village near the southern town of Suva Reka, said police spokesman Veton Elshani. No major damage was reported to the house, Elshani said. Kosovo, formally a province of Serbia, has been administered by the United Nations since mid-1999 following the war between Serb forces and the independence-seeking ethnic Albanian majority.
