Per Ardua Ad Astra
While in the Far East, one evening a group of us went to the station cinema. Before the film was shown, the National Anthem was played, one of my buddies in a high pitched voice mimicking the Queen said loudly, “Oh Philip, they're playing our tune.” We began laughing, which seemed to annoy the station commander who happened to be in the audience. He threatened to throw us all in the cells.
He never did have a sense of humour.
