My wife's pregnant

A Can of Man

Je suis aware
Hey guys, my wife's pregnant. I've been a civilian for less than 2 months yet it seems like I've done more than most people do in 2 years. Crazy.

My Congratulations! to the pair of you.

Make the most of it. Having children will be the most fulfilling thing you will do with your life.

congrats!! so is this little one going to be a boy or girl, or are you going to let it be a surprise?

Well, no idea on whether it's a boy or girl. It's too early to tell right now.
But man... I'm going to have to get a job to support my family and that's real hard right now for foreigners.
I am qualified for a LOT of jobs but they all require green cards and citizenships. So I'm feeling kind of screwed here...

Congratulations.
This won´t be too far off from being in again.

You won´t get any sleep.
You will have to share rack room with a noisy bugger.
You will have to keep mopping up puke and **** (not your own after getting too wasted with your men anymore)..
And instead of the plastic bag that you yourself/battlebuddy **** in when laying up in an OP you´ll get to change diapers.
(These you don´t have to pack in your Bergen and carry around for several days.)

Only downside I can see is, your battlebuddy won´t take too well to you pouring hot sauce all over his/her meals.
Atleast not at an early stage.

If it´s a son I can recomend reading balistic scheduals as goodnight stories.
I tried that with my 2 year old God son.
And though he was very intrested in how much a 5,56 NATO round drops at four hundred meters he eventually went to sleep.

Good luck as a future father.

4 hours is enough....

Better with one noisy bugger than three...

NBC suit recommended

See comment above...

As an NBC defense specialist, I know exactly what to do. I will recommend an evacuation for those anywhere in a downwind direction from the site of the puke (distance depending on wind) and I will cordon the area off with tape before washing the baby in warm soap water and then hanging him/her up in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and with good ventilation.
I knew this NBC stuff would come in handy some day.

Congratulations 13th!

Sounds like you've got everything covered there..

Congratualations, prepare for everything you believe important in life to shift priority! Some of my friends had a kid recently, and their lives have changed greatly - but I've never seen them happier.
