My Dad Was A...

My Dad was called up for national service in 72, but it was cancelled before he went in.
His old man was an engineer in PNG, and his step father a Machine Gunner in the Torres Straight with the CMF

Can I get a linguistics specialist ASAP for a translation at the DMZ before the CSM comes by for a CI, just FYI this is strictly BYOB.

My father was in armored infantery for his time of service.

My Grandfather was born in WWII and when he was old enough to join the army he didn't have to serve, because his dad, my grandgrandfather, was MIA on the peninsular Krim on the eastern front. I think another Grandgrandfather of mine died in WWII, but I don't know anything about the units they served in.
