WARSAW - Poland will send an additional 400 soldiers to Afghanistan next year, strengthening its commitment to a NATO-led mission aimed at restoring order, Poland's foreign and defense ministers said yesterday. Poland, the largest former communist member of NATO and the European member, has about 1,200 troops in Afghanistan.
