I have respect for these guys, who walk in demonstrations in a country with actual tyranny and real danger of being killed or tortured.
Myanmar doesn't have many cars on any of its roads but in its towns and cities there are overhead crossings... they were made chiefly for soldiers and police to fire at civilians demonstrating. No kidding. That's what they were made for.
This is a world of a difference between a bunch of MTV watching jackasses thinking it is "brave" to march down Amsterdam Avenue with "Bush = Hitler" signs.
