Motivation is a situation where people want to reach out and achieve move on UP , we have people who have been on Government assistance for Generations and have been inundated to that life style , 42 million on just food stamps alone we have kids that get free breakfast , lunch and in many cases dinner while their parents are doing What ? , a free education is not a right a free anything is not a right , getting out in the world and working to get ahead is a right , getting Government OUT of our families lives would be a step in the right direction for getting MO back where it belongs .;-)

Yeah... No.
I am not sure where to start with that post as it is kind of all over the place.
Motivation and moving up = education and yet you seem to have a great distaste for the educated, further to that as we educate the our people the bar moves up as well and we are left with the ludicrous situation we have now where entry level jobs making coffee require a degree.

The problems we are facing in this field stem from the fact that we have forced successive generations out of blue collar jobs by giving all those jobs to the third world, there was a time when you could leave school at 15-16 get a job at the local works, learn a trade and have a good life, now China/India produce almost all our goods and you need a Phd in Molecular Biology to get a job sweeping the streets.

We churn out thousands of degree holders a year to fill hundreds of jobs and it just doesn't work.

If everyone has a degree then no one needs a degree , degrees are big money BIG money to learning institutes , stay in school go to college is the war cry , student loans for the most part are never paid back because the degree you get barely earns you enough to live on .

That unfortunately isn't the case though because having a degree becomes the base level which moves all the 40+ year old's who grew up in a system where all you needed was the right attitude to get a job unemployable.

Which in turn creates social problems and the need for things like food stamps and welfare etc.
To solve these issues we must find a way to return to promoting trades rather than professions, we can always use 10000 plumbers, electricians, builders and joiners we cant always use 10000 accountants. Essentially we need to recreate the work base pyramid where the bulk of your workers are blue collar and earning a decent wage.

Staying in school and going to college is the problem not the solution people should stay in school and get a decent education but another 50 million college graduates working at Burger King shows little the degree is worth these days.
