miracle...yes another one

some of you may have heard of the mormons(LDS churhc). There was a lds soldier and he was in vietnam in the jungles whith his company. As they were sneakin along a viet-kong ambush took them by surprise, a few men got shot including this lds soldier. he was shot right where his breast pocket was, inside the breast pocket was his book of mormon. it stoopped the bullet. the awsome thing is that this bullet should have been able to travle trought a brick wall! well i though it was cool

I heard something similar, and it was a joke, from some TV show.

Similar situation. Soldiers sitting about, chewing the fat. One mentions about how one of his platoon mates had always carried a bible in his left breast pocket, and one day, he got hit by a round. Wonder of wonders! The bullet hadn't hurt him, but buried itself deep in the book. A bullet, stopped by the Gospel! A miracle! Too bad about the other two rounds he took in the head, though.
