Hi All,

I came across this post doing some web work for GM. Thought it might be helpful for people to know that GM has a military discount available to active duty members and Reserves. If you aren't familiar with it, all the details are on www.gmmilitarydiscount.com.

There's also a Facebook page that aims to bring military families together to share their experiences. Check it out when you have some time: http://www.facebook.com/gmmilitaryprogram

Best,

Lauren

Yeah but electronics wise, AAFES/PX stores charges a lot more anyway. I would never buy any major items there because of that and many ghetto brands. Ordering online from other places usually costs you no tax depending on state + shipping isn't a lot either and sometimes free.

Thanks

Ask Everywhere!

I ask everywhere and most places will give some sort of discount. I'm a veteran and I still get discounts at just about everywhere I shop. I've saved HUNDREDS if not thousands at Home Depot. Shoe stores all generally give 20% off as well. I am a distance runner, so 20% off my shoes is a big thing. Just ask, the worst thing that will happen is they can say no.
