A bit late with this one, there has been a lot going on lately.

Any suggestions for the May charity donation?
(about $100)

Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund, Reading is Fundamental and Ronald McDonald House Charities. Just to name a few...

NAACP Legal Defense Fund.

NEGATIVE!

 May as well just write a check to Michael Jackson's lawyers. Organizations like the ACLU and the NAACP have become a wee bit too politicized to be valid charities in my mind, I believe that keeping the donations focused on children would be the best and least controversial way to go, Redleg.

There's always the good old fall-back of the International Red Cross, too. :D

Yeah, I think so too, or some kind of Veterans organization.
I'll stay away from political organizations and charities..

And Ronal MCDonald???
Never!!
Got food poisoned twice at McDonalds here in Norway! :?
(But I still eat there... )

More suggestions please! 8)

Any links?
I don't have time to search for it right now, going to bed.. :?
(Or I'll do a search during my lunchbreak tomorrow..)

Make a Wish sounds like real good organization.
$100 may go their way soon if no one else has any other suggestions..

I've decided to donate some of the money I make from commercials on this site, every month (about $100)

You can read a bit about it here:

There has been two donations so far:

Everyone can suggest a new charity each month that deserves a donation.

It looks like the Make-a-Wish foundation gets $100 this month, unless there some other suggestions.. (have to act fast, the money will be donated today.. :))

Are these charities just American because I thought that you could - perhaps donate money til the different Vet charities across the globe on a rota basis.

I suppose that you would have to research the validity of each first so - on second thoughts - perhaps you had better stay with what you know.

What about the "Buy an Israeli 17 year old a brand new car" foundation? They really are dong great stuff.... :D
